Dear Zachary,
Normally, it is not considered good manners to raid the belongings of family members who are visiting for a few days.
Nor is it gracious to then claim said belongings as your own.
If you insist on doing this in the future, please, for the sake of your father, choose your Uncle's boots...not your Aunt's.
...and they might be more comfortable on the correct feet.
